Sony Pictures Gets Hacked

With around 1,000,000 users’ information being stolen by the break-in. A group called Lulz Security has continued the recent trend of breaking into Sony’s online properties.

The most recent hack managed to break into the Sony Pictures website using an SQL injection method and grabbed over a million users’ data. In addition to posting 50,000 of them on their website, the group has released 3.5 million music coupon codes in the wild. They also claim to have the entire admin database of Sony BMG Belgium, including their usernames and passwords.

So why might you ask? Well obviously for teh lulz.
