Rumor: Sony NGP Hardware Gets Nerfed

Possibly to position the price point of the device to be competitive with the 3DS. According to a French technology site, 01.net, the NGP will have its RAM cut in half to sport only 256MB and have its internal 16GB storage removed and replaced by external storage only. The device’s 128MB of dedicated GPU memory will remain however. The move is expected to lower the non-3G NGP version’s price to around $250-$300.
