Lenovo Unveils Game Console… In China

Considering that the Chinese government currently bans the likes of the Wii, PS3, and 360, releasing one may not be a bad idea at all. Well, it isn’t too difficult to get one of the big three game consoles in China, but officially, they’re not supported outside of a few portable variants.

Eedoo Technology, a Beijing-based company that is funded by Lenovo, has unveiled plans to release its very own game console in the country, called the iSec. Sporting motion-controls similar to the Kinect, Eedoo hopes to sell its product to the largely untapped Chinese home console market… assuming it gets past government regulators.

There are currently no specific details of the hardware inner-workings for the console just yet, though one probably does not expect it to contain cutting-edge graphics technology.
