Minecraft Coming to Mobile Devices

The insanely popular indie game, Minecraft, is coming to the Android and IOS. The Swedish developer behind Minecraft, Markus Persson, announced that the game will be ported by Aron Neiminen. Neiminen is a new addition to the Mojang team and the game is expected to launch sometime later this year.

However, the mobile version will be slightly stripped compared to its PC counterpart as Persson states that the mobile versions of the game will only receive content that make sense for the platform.
