Quite impressive for the amount of time it’s been out.
Lets be honest here, a lot of us (including me) were expecting this device to fail. However, Microsoft has managed to prove the naysayers wrong with the motion sensing device hitting 8 million units sold in just 2 months. This is wildly beyond the 5 million units that Microsoft originally estimated and brings a strong message: this is serious.
A $500 million marketing campaign most certainly goes a long way.
