Important Black OPs PC Patch (Update)

Many PC gamers are experiencing an array of problems with the PC version of BLOPs. However, a patch is on the way. The lead PC developer, who has the shocking twitter name of pcdev, tweeted that a patch will be released later today. In addition, he mention that their results were pretty good.

We are on track so far to release MP patch sometime tomorrow and SP patch the following day, pending good test results.

Unfortunately, those who are waiting on a single player patch will have to wait another day.

Update: The multiplayer patch will be here in a few hours. The lead PC developer on Black Ops tweed the following:

Several hours of testing to go before MP patch can be approved. Still morning on West Coast US.

Update 2:

The patch is out for both the multiplayer and single player portion of the game. Check out the full list of changes below:

* CPU performance improvements
* Server browser bug fixes and tweaks to populate faster and do full refresh less often
* Fixed crash when viewing leaderboards if player has more than 99 friends
* Zombie matchmaking improvements
* Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay
* Fix for ADS while holding shift as a sniper
