Duke Nukem Unreal 3 Mod in the Works

A modder by the name of fresch is working on a total conversion of Duke Nukem 3D using the Unreal 3 engine. However, fresch isn’t new to modding. Earlier he was working on a SiN game but was shutdown by MumboJumbo as they owned the rights to the title. So what about this Duke 3D mod? Well, to avoid a repeat of the SiN game, fresch this time contacted Scott Miller from 3D realm asking for his input. The reply he received from Miller definitely indicates a possible green light:

Hi Fresch,

This project might be doable.

Do you have any screen shots that show George and I what it might look
like when finished?

Unfortunately, it is unclear if fresch has the needed permission to develop the mod at this point in time.
