Quake 3 Arena Demo on Samsung Galaxy

Epic showed UT3 on the iphone before, but now it’s time to see some Quake 3 action! The video below shows a real time demo of Quake 3 Arena on the Android based Samsung Galaxy.

However, the Nexus one also manages to play Quake 3.

It seems that some competition is heating up between the two phones as “…the Galaxy S is capable of rendering a staggering 90 million triangles per second, compared to the Nexus One’s respectable 22 million. ” How does this compare to the iPhone? Well according to phandroid.com, the IPhone handles around 28 million triangles/sec.
