It seems Microsoft has finally stopped the rampaging decline of its beloved web browser. According to Net Applications, Internet Explorer gained a full 0.57% market share from May to June. While this is still a small gain compared to the crater made by the 18.42% total loss in market share since 2007, at this point, a gain is still a gain:
The gains might be because of recent marketing promoting the safety features of Internet Explorer. That or it’s the default browser for Windows 7 and people are lazy.
