AMD has been in the dark with their next generation of graphics cards MIA while Nvidia finishes its lineup for the GTX 7 series. However, some leaked information may suggest that the cards may be released this September. Here is a break down of how the device ID may translate into each GPU:

At this time it is unclear if some of these parts will be a rebranded chip in a similiar fashion to Nvidia’s 7 series, but we will keep you posted as we get closer to the supposed release date.

My guess would be they are re-branded 7xxx series chips. Hell they confirmed as much before for OEM 8-series products. I don’t see them splitting the 8 series into rebadged parts and new parts like Nvidia kind of did. Althought nvidia just rebadged new parts into a lower line….crazy
