Sony has taken a huge step against Microsoft and taken a relaxed approach towards used games and DRM. Yep, Microsoft is not looking too well in this department as Jack Tretton confirmed at E3 that used games wont require any sort of activation fee and it will work as it did on the PS3. Gamers also don’t have to be connected online to play single player games. Furthermore, in a really bad jab at Microsoft, Sony confirmed that there will be no 24 hour connection requirement.

Did….did you hear that? Did you hear that knife Sony stuck into Microsoft? Did you hear them twist it?
I’m pretty sure that’s what happened. This war has been won.
Hahaha yeah, that part with Tretton speaking… the most cheering I’ve heard so far today (though it’s a bit sad, considering these things should be standard). It was a total burn for Microsoft. XD
