I can’t say that I am enthused about the name and look of the new system, but it could be worse. While watching the conference, I did like how you could seamlessly switch from playing a game, watching TV, playing music, etc. However, I felt there was a lack of nostalgia that I got with the PS4 conference. They really didn’t focus on games the way Sony did so that could be one of the reasons. Overall, I felt Sony’s conference was a bit better, but it could always flip when E3 rolls around in two weeks.
Yeah, perhaps they are holding back since they revealed it so close to E3. However, they really need to bring more of their A game and show some more games this June otherwise the system could be viewed as more of a cable box then a console.
None of this TV stuff they went on about will be in the non-american versions. Usually this is the case anyway. I like NFL and would love to see that kind of service, like likely to happen though lol.
It will not be backwards compatible, can’t really fault them too much for it I guess, architecture differences and what-not.
