The movie horror mastermind isn’t opposed to making a Dead Space movie. In an interview with Game Informer, John Carpenter expressed enthusiasm when asken if he would like to make a Dead Space movie.
I maintain that Dead Space would just make a great movie because you have these people coming onto an abandoned, shut-down space ship and they have to start it up and something’s on board. It’s just great stuff. I would love to make Dead Space, I’ll tell you that right now. That one is ready-made.”
As it stands there are already two animated Dead Space films that have been released, so this would make the first live action movie for fans of the series.
