Well, that wasn’t so hard now was it? After a tepid response by consumers for their latest operating system, rumors are flying around that Microsoft is finally considering a scale back of the Metro UI. In this case, giving consumers a choice.
While Windows 8 allows you to switch to the desktop, actually booting to it usually required a third-party application. As for the Start button, there is ongoing discussion that emphasizes the button itself, not the actual menu.
We’ll just have to see in June.

I would hope they seriously think about adding the start menu as the release is rivaling Vista atm. However, I still believe they are still going for the whole desktop/ mobile all in one OS agenda.
Just give us options… pleeeaaase 😀
