Is it worth it? Nope. Coming in at $100, the new Wii Mini may seem cute in its new red outershell, but the SKU suffers from an internal hardware downgrade: no Gamecube compatibility, and even more significant, no internet access.
Perhaps a testament to how stripped down the machine is, the SKU currently exclusive to moose hunters Canadians only.

Yeah, it’s a bit odd that to get to that price point they have to drop internet access :P.
Wow, no internet access and no gamecube compatibility, that’s not too good. The red controller looks pretty cool though.
It’s an okay idea, but no internet access seems like a big deal. Maybe they could have some of it’s capabilities and sold it at $150 price tag.
