While the Nintendo conference presented us with a new console, it was more for casual gamers with the Wii fit U, Pikmin 3, and NintendoLand. Nintendo did try to bring the hardcore element into the presentation with some third party titles and an exclusive game from Ubisoft,  Zombi U. However, Nintendo missed a real opportunity to show the power of the hardware compared to its competitors. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a game that really demonstrated a push in hardware technology in terms of graphics. Furthermore, it is still uncertain how much the new console costs at this time. Overall, the conference was interesting and it did manage to draw in a lot of attention to the new console, but perhaps it felt like something was missing in the end.
