Sony’s conference was decent with a look at their exclusive Super Smash Brothers clone, Playstation All Stars, and a look at Beyond from the makers of Heavy Rain. They also talked a little bit about the PS Vita and an exclusive Assassins Creed 3 game for the mobile device. Furthermore, both Assassin’s Creed  3 and Far Cry 3 footage allowed gamers to get a closer look at each game. AC3 had some jaw dropping ship combat at sea. Also, Far Cry 3 showed us some gameplay with 4 player COOP.

A bit of a surprise was Wonderbook, which is aimmed at casual gamers. Sony is teaming up with Moon Bot and J.K Rowling  for a few games on the platform. Basically, Wonderbook is an augmented reality story that changes on the fly and interacts with the move controller. There was a bit of a hic-up with the Book of Spells demo and it was a bit drawn out. When that slight debacle was over they also talked about PS Suite and they renamed it to Playstation Mobile. However, their God of War demo was awesome and it brought the show back into focus for the hardcore. In the end, it would have been nice to have Kevin Butler take the stage, but the conference still managed to hold up compared to their competitor.
