EA’s answer to Activision’s Call of Duty Elite. This latest leak first surfaced as a mistake by Sony in the PlayStation store before being taken down. Perhaps following this initial leak after a bit of digging, a member at NeoGAF posted a sheet detailing the service.
Unlike Activision’s package, Battlefield 3 Premium will have a one-time fee of $50 to access the following features:
- All five expansion packs
- Access to expansion packs 2 weeks early
- Ability to reset statistics such as K/D ratio
- Priority in server queuing
- Unique in-game items including camos, dog tags, and assignments
Electronic Arts is planning a full reveal June 4th. We’ll keep you posted.

I am surprised, but at the same time I am not if that is even possible o_O.
At least it’s a one time fee. So, in my eyes Activision is still worse in that regard.
Actually it sounds about the same to me. COD Elite is $50 for a years worth of MW3 content. This is $50 for however long they decide to support BF3. I’m willing to bet when the next MOH ships support for BF3 will drop drastically. If this is popular you can bet EA will roll it out for MOH so $50 for that versus another $50 for a year’s worth of Black Ops 2. Considering this is EA we’re talking about it wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to do it with all of their big games, especially the sports ones.
I’m with Derangel. Seems like the same kind of ripoff to me.
