Crysis 2 Returns to Steam

As the new Maximum Edition that includes the DLC. This sadly does not appear to be a precursor for the return of EA games on Steam. The revision was entirely done by Crytek, which is not owned by Electronic Arts. Thanks to the DLC being included in the Maximum Edition, it complies with Steam’s terms of service, allowing the sale to happen.

Owners who bought Crysis 2 on Steam before it was pulled may purchase the Maximum Edition at a 50% discount of the listed price of $40 (not that I’d recommend it).

Those still hoping for titles like Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 to make the jump should probably just give it up; DICE and BioWare are part of EA’s portfolio and they’re staying on Origin.
