It is time for Mother Russia to shine in the eastern front! Leaked from NeoGaf, you can expect the micro-intensive RTS gameplay to continue in the freezing Russian winter with these leaked details:
– 2013 release
– Main campaign is Eastern front, playing as Russians
– Lots of snow. Snow slows down troops and tanks, but can also form cover.
– Units can vault over cover such as low walls.
Perhaps one of the most exciting parts will be the tanks; considering Allied western forces were mostly outmatched in the mechanized front by the Germans, it’ll be most pleasing to finally control a Soviet T-34 or even an IS-2.

It’s been a long time going warhammer only for Relic. I say it’s good for them to switch for a bit and come up with fresh ideas for DOW3 later 😉
