So if you’ve been wondering why your frames haven’t hit the ideal 60 yet, don’t be alarmed. Personally, I have no idea what the reasoning behind this move was as most PC games are usually set to run steadily at 60fps. Perhaps it was their intention to make it feel more cinematic? Or maybe, could there be some technical issues within the game that Rockstar doesn’t want us to know about?

I read that it’s because of the facial animation system. I guess since they captured the actor’s animations at 30fps it would look weird in 60fps. Hopefully, someone manages to make the game run at 60fps and the animation system isn’t messed up.
Next we’ll find out that there is no installing the game; we gotta have the disc in & all the data gets streamed off of it…
lol At that point, we’d be better off calling our PC’s consoles.
