It remains to be seen whether GameStop’s gamble will pay off in the long run.
Android eh? The tablets that are currently being offered at 200 of their stores come in several different models, each with a different manufacturer: Acer, Samsung and ASUS. Each tablet will be preloaded with seven titles, including Madden and Dead Space.
No concrete hardware specifications as of yet. We’ll keep you posted.

$200 lol.
what does $200 get you? (if they’re trying to make any kind of profit off of the hardware sales)
Shit LCD screen
last generation hardware (1ghz A8 based)
small storage (8-16 gb)
shit battery life.
i mean… amazon can make like a $250 tablet and sell it for $200 since it’s got so many services to go with it… (their own app ecosystem, amazon prime/video rentals, ebooks, etc…)
gamestop? just selling games…
I honestly don’t think these tablets will do well. I hardly heard anything about it, so it clearly wasn’t well advertized. On top of that, if people want portable gaming, they will take something small like a 3DS or a PSP over a tablet. It may find a loyal market in the tablet enthusiasts, but I doubt it will in the hardcore gaming community.
