Great news for Warhammer fans. A free COOP mode is on the way! Unfortunately, the DLC will not be available on the day of the game’s release (September 6th). This add-on won’t be put into players hands until either late September or early October. The COOP mode encompasses the following:
Exterminatus is a co-op mode that allows up to four Space Marines to fight against hordes of alien enemies in a score based fight to the death.
You’ll be able to choose between the Tactical Marine, Devastator, or Assault Marine across two scenarios: “Assault on Hab Center Andreas” and “Escape from Kalkya Facility.” All XP earned while playing this mode will also count towards the game’s universal multiplayer ranks.
Warhammer and PC fans alike will be pleased in the fact that this late addition to the game will be free of charge. Unlike some other games that charge $15 for maps, it is refreshing to see companies aren’t always pushing out sketchy DLC.

It’s because it’s not a dlc. It’s the same as DOW2 where they released “the last stand” as dlc after some time. They intended this mode to be in the game but didn’t have time to put it there and meet the deadline obviously.
So what do you do? You leave a minor mode out, pass it as free dlc and get more supporters who might pay for the rest. Same as with all the zero day preorder bonus DLCs.
DLCs in most cases is content cut out from the game. Not added to it.
For instance, all those preorder chapter skins? They will all be added as paid for later. And judging from relic’s DOW2 dlcs… they’ll cost a bit… like $7
I’m glad we are at least getting it, but yeah that would be messed up if we had to pay for it. As for paid DLC content that should have been in the game to begin with, I heard Capcom is doing a lot of that.
Everyone is doing it ;P Along with half assed dlc. Out of the dlcs I bought for ME2, only the Lair of the Shadow Broker was worth it.
