With the amount of power this thing packs, the price certainly isn’t surprising. For those three Benjamins and a Grant, you get this:
NVIDIA Tegra 4 Quad Core Mobile Processor with 2GB RAM (ARM A15 CPU)
Display 5 inch 1280×720 (294 ppi) Multi-Touch Display
Storage 16GB Flash Memory
MicroSD Slot
Problem is, it becomes a really niche product at that price. Considering the PS Vita is at $250 with Nintendo’s first model at $170, it won’t be outselling those two anytime soon if you’re applying the law of price and quantity. A bigger problem however, is the games; every other phone on the planet runs Android. What do we have for exclusives?

It can also stream from your PC. I am not sure if you need an nvidia card to do that though. But, yeah, this thing is a bit pricey, but interesting nevertheless. I personally don’t plan on getting it atm though.
Yeah it requires a Nvidia card. AMD is supposedly developing similar tech.
I’m sure they will come up with something to make it stream out of systems that only include a Nvidia GPU (similar to PhysX) ;P .
EDIT:
Wow, it actually does require a Nvidia GPU…. 😯
