Sony Releases PS3 TV Streaming Companion

Kind of reminds us of the PSX console that was released in 2003. Except this thing doesn’t have any console hardware in it. Called the Nasne, the machine packs a 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, and hardware that allows it to stream to multiple different devices in the PlayStation family, such as the PS Vita, PS3, and the tablet variants. Priced at 16,980 yen (around $210 USD), this hunk of junk companion device is currently slated for Japan only.

An 800GB version of the Nasne will most likely show up by the end of the year.
