Well it appears to be at an Nvidia/680 event so of course they’re going to say stuff like that. However it is possible that the 680 handles game + PhysX calculations better than its predecessors making it possible to run PhysX on high and the game maxed out only possible on it, but I kind of doubt it.
That’s true too, it could be more optimized, but yeah either way the card will handle it better even without it because its a more powerful card. With that said, I am not so sure BL 2 is a demanding game no? So, yeah I am with you there as well, I doubt one will actually need a 680 to accomplish what was shown in the video.
That is quite impressive. I would think that there would be other cards in addition to the 680 that should be able to handle stuff like that though.
