RE6 looks awesome so far :). I hope they keep it more in the city than other areas though. They need more games with an RE2 and 3 like feeling. I can’t say that the gameplay will be old school like though, which isn’t necessarily an entirely bad thing since some of the camera angles and movements were a bit disorienting in the old games, but maybe a few more puzzles and what not wouldn’t be a bad idea :).
Great trailer. It’s going to be awesome to have the ability to play as both Leon, Chris, and what appears to be another character that has similar abilities as Wesker possessed in the previous RE games. Also, it looks like they upped the visuals and variety of environments. Overall, I’m exited about it and I can’t wait.
However, this doesn’t look like the traditional style of RE. I believe this is going to be more of an “Uncharted-like” approach, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but some may be a bit disappointed.
Lastly, you can tell that 2 player COOP is most likely still implemented with in the game. In that trailer, some of the scenes encompass two characters that fight side by side. In Leon’s case someone might have to play as Ashley 🙁 .
The only downside in what I saw was the armed monsters… Other than that it looks fun. Hopefully it won’t be “You can’t move and shoot” yet again.

I agree with XxHolt45xX…it does look like Leon was walking in that very quick clip. I really hope that is the case, even if they force you to walk slowly. As much as I want you to be able to move while shooting though, I don’t want you to be able to run and shoot.
As for the game as a whole, I think it looks great so far. Although it looks action oriented, similar to RE4 and 5, it definitely seems that they are going for the old-school dark and gloomy atmosphere, which could be Capcom trying to tip the scale a bit back to suspense horror.
Obviously we’re not sure if that blonde is Ashley (although it probably is), but if it is, oddly enough she doesn’t seem to be paired with Leon, but instead the third unnamed male character.
Lastly, although it’s not bad to introduce a new playable character, it would be nice if Capcom stuck with characters we know. Unless that third guy is in fact someone we do know, like HUNK, it would be cool if they brought back another character instead of a new guy, say maybe Billy Coen (my favorite character), Carlos Oliviera, or even Barry Burton.
Looks great! Just look at Leon, man he really got old. I agree with Gatto – Its action orianted like 4 and 5, but the fact that they combine it with horror got me interested. Sometimes the gameplay reminds me of gears of war 🙂
