On one of its Twitter accounts today Nvidia posted the name of the new Fermi-based GF100 GPUs. Skipping an entire generation and calling the launch cards the Geforce GTX 480 and the Geforce GTX 470. It looks as though Nvidia is going to keep the 3-series as a place for rebranded cards and 10.1 refreshes leaving the 4 series open to, hopefully, a full compliment of brand new cards.
