As many of you may be noticing the update on Steam. If you’re wondering, the update is 986.3 MB, so depending on your net connection, you may want to wait or pause the game update if you’re in the middle of something.
The rest of the Left 4 Dead maps will be released later this summer according as part of the Cold Stream DLC. It also puts into question the actual worth of the first game now.

It’s nice that they are going to be porting over the campaigns from L4D to L4D2, but I agree with the last statement of the article…the worth of the first game will be questionable. The only advantage of the first over the sequel would be that it doesn’t have melee weapons (which I know not everyone is a fan of). Once the campaigns are ported over though, I think that will unfortunately begin the dying off the beloved first game.
well its assumed that the first game is already dead with all the support for l4d2 n shit
