L.A. Noire Headed to the PC this Fall

That’s right PC Gamers, a new Rockstar IP is headed to the PC.

Rockstar’s interactive detective story L.A. Noire is coming to the PC this fall, the publishers said this morning.

“L.A. Noire is a new type of game that makes players see through a detective’s eyes in 1940s Los Angeles,” said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. “Its unique blend of story, action and crime solving will be perfect to play on PC.”

The PC version was developed by Rockstar Leeds and will run on a “wide range of PCs and feature customization, including keyboard remapping and gamepad functionality.”

Rockstar says the PC version will have increased fidelity and other graphical enhancements as well as 3D support.

While I can’t say I am entirely shocked as this is what Rockstar has always seemed to do on the PC, the fact that we are still waiting for Red Dead Redemption to come to PC made me skeptical about L.A. Noire. I for one am looking forward to seeing the differences in the Xbox 360 and PC versions and what they really can do with the facial animations with all that horsepower.
