Well Summer is almost over and I've got almost nothing to show for it. It's become apperant that, while I can draw, writing is a huge weak point of mine. I don't think this comic can materialize right until I figure a lot of concept and plot holes, and if recent months are any indication, that won't happen if I'm on my own.

Therefore, I hereby cancel BitCrash indefinately. I'll keep you posted if I figure out a solution, but the chances are low, so it's best presumed dead.

I'm sorry I got all your hopes up. I'm sorry I led you on so long, and I'm sorry I failed to provide the comic I promised.

Does this mean I won't ever make a comic for PixelSmashers? No. But It probably won't be bitcrash, and whatever I would make may not become a reality for a long, long time.

I kind of figured this would happen since its been a while, but no worries. I appreciated the fact that you considered doing a comic for the site and taking your time to volunteer. It sounds like you put a lot of thought into the comic, and if you felt it didn't work then I trust your judgment.

I hope that one day we will see a comic for the site, but that's up to you. Again, thank you for any work you may have already put into the project and don't feel compelled to try and make up for anything. Yeah there aren't many of those, mostly because I feel like the art should be built off of a story and character, not the other way around.

But guess what? I can't write, so it couldn't get that far.

I do have a few character designs and a few logos I made. But I couldn't get much farther without a story and world concept to build off of.



So yeah. This is pretty much as far as it got. Everything else hit snags and dead ends and so plummeted the comic into undoability. Not in my current state anyway.

Well, maybe you can do a weekly comic on news and stuff instead? I know you protested before, but if you are having trouble getting ideas then maybe it's a start? Also, you don't need to be hard on yourself. Everyone can write, it just takes some time to overcome other limiting factors such as writers block.

I can try to help you with what the characters are going to say since I do that in my news post on almost a daily basis. Just let me know what you want to do and I'll try to help.

What was the basis of the story? Sort of been out of the loop on this thing :/
