Asus P67 UEFI Motherboard on the way

UEFI is a major step in replacing the outdated BIOS model in which we all have had a love and hate relationship with. Earlier we reported how UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) has faster start up times, supports more hard drive space, and it will have a nice and up-to-date GUI. The Asus P67, which is an upcoming motherboard for Intel’s refresh on socket 1155, will feature UEFI. It looks like these companies really are stepping up to the plate when Microsoft stated that they plan to make UEFI the new standard in 2011.
